One of the major appeals of the HA fillers is that they are reversible and are temporary. Hyaluronidase, is an enzyme that is the “reversal ” medicine used to dissolve HA fillers. Unhappy with injections you received elsewhere? We can dissolve it for you and start fresh.
During your comprehensive consultation at Glow, we will assess areas where you have previously had filler and determine if old filler needs to be dissolved prior to treatment for optimal results.

Hyaluronidase, is and enzyme that is used as the “reversal ” to dissolve the HA fillers.
Is the injection painful?
A typical Hylenex treatment is less than 5 minutes and very comfortable. Topical numbing is applied to the treatment area. At Glow, we have a specialized “hylenex cocktail” that we use to make it extra tolerable for our patients.
Is there any downtime?
Some swelling and bruising are experienced after treatment. Swelling typically resolves within 24 hours. Bruising can last up to 1 week.
When do I see the results of my treatment?
The HA is dissolved within a few hours (sometimes minutes) but there will be some swelling from the injection that can take a day or 2 to resolve. If an additional treatment is needed, it can be done within 3 days.

When can I get more filler after my Hylenex treatment?
